It's been a long time coming, but former State golfer Tim Clark has finally shaken the "Best Player Never To Have Won On The PGA Tour" moniker with a fantastic 66-67 final two rounds to finish with a final score of -16.He bested Robert Allenby down the stretch, who missed two very close putts on 16 and 17 that could have forced a playoff with Clark or won it outright.
But fate intervened, and as Clark watched on in clubhouse, Allenby came up one stroke short and the engraving of Clark's name on the trophy began.
