If avoiding penalties comes at the price of aggression then I'll take the penalties. Virginia Tech is currently 10th in the league in penalty yardage and it doesn't seem to be hurting them. No holding, which I'm sure there was some, no penalties on any punt/kick returns really?, and also a blatent pass interference no call against duke.
